In this exciting journey through the Andes in the Cusco region, Turitika Travel offers you a unique adventure sport experience at the wheel of ATVs (also known as quad bikes or all-terrain vehicles). Throughout the route, you will enjoy impressive views of the Sacred Valley, with its extraordinary combination of mountains, valleys, and snow-capped peaks.
Itinerary
Route: Cruzpata – Moray – Maras – Salt Mines
The service starts with a transfer from your hotel in Cusco:
- Morning group: pickup between 6:30 and 7:00.
- Afternoon group: pickup between 11:30 and 12:00.
After approximately one hour of travel, we will arrive at the Cruzpata Community, where we will equip ourselves with helmets and safety gloves. Our bilingual guide (English-Spanish) will give a full briefing on the optimal use of the ATVs and the necessary precautions.
We begin the route on ancient Inca trails, passing through natural viewpoints from which expansive views of the Sacred Valley can be seen. The first stop is the impressive archaeological site of Moray, famous for its circular terraces. We will continue to the picturesque town of Maras, and finally admire the centuries-old Salt Mines, where the salt pools contrast with the mountainous surroundings.
At the end of the activity, we return to the city of Cusco. As an additional option (subject to availability and customer preference), you can visit the traditional Quechua houses in Chinchero. The return to the historic center is planned near the Plaza de Armas:
- Morning shift: arrival around 12:00 pm.
- Afternoon shift: arrival around 5:00 pm.

Cancellations up to 48 hours before receive an 80% refund. Between 24 and 48 hours, 50% is retained. Cancellations within 24 hours are non-refundable. Rescheduling depends on availability and may incur additional charges.
