Huaraz – Pitec – Laguna Churup – Return
The tour starts between 7:30 and 8:00 a.m. with departure from Huaraz toward the Pitec sector, the starting point of the hike.
From here begins the uphill hike to Laguna Churup, considered a moderate difficulty trek. Along the route, you can enjoy panoramic views of the city of Huaraz and the valley.
During the journey, you will cross unique natural landscapes surrounded by Andean flora and impressive mountains such as Churup, Vallunaraju, and Huamashraju.
One of the sections includes the use of chains to climb a rocky area (optional, with alternative routes available).
Upon arriving at Laguna Churup, you can enjoy its turquoise waters and natural surroundings, ideal for resting and taking photos.
