Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Cusco + City Tour P.M.
Upon your arrival in the city of Cusco, our staff will welcome you and provide transportation to your selected hotel. You will have time to rest and acclimate to the altitude.
In the afternoon, we will begin the City Tour, visiting the main attractions of the city: Qoricancha (Temple of the Sun), as well as nearby archaeological sites such as Sacsayhuamán, Qenqo, Puca Pucara, and Tambomachay. During the tour, our guide will provide historical and cultural information about the capital of the Inca Empire.
Day 2: VIP Sacred Valley
The tour begins with hotel pickup for a complete journey through the Sacred Valley of the Incas, visiting Chinchero (archaeological site and textile center), Moray (Inca circular terraces), and the Maras Salt Mines.
Afterward, you will enjoy a buffet lunch in the Sacred Valley. In the afternoon, you will visit the Ollantaytambo Fortress, one of the most important archaeological complexes of the Inca Empire.
At the end of the visit, transfer to Ollantaytambo train station to board the train to Aguas Calientes, where you will spend the night in preparation for the Machu Picchu excursion the following day.
Day 3: Machu Picchu
After spending the night in Aguas Calientes, the excursion to Machu Picchu begins with a bus transfer to the Historic Sanctuary. Upon arrival, you will enjoy a guided tour of the Inca citadel, exploring its most important sectors.
After the guided visit, you will have free time for photographs and lunch.
In the afternoon, return by bimodal train to Cusco and transfer to your hotel.
Day 4: Humantay Lake
A full-day excursion to one of Cusco’s most breathtaking lakes. The tour begins with an early departure and a journey to Mollepata, where breakfast is served. The trip then continues to Soraypampa, the starting point of the hike to Humantay Lake, famous for its turquoise waters and stunning glacier views.
At the lake, you will have time to enjoy the scenery and take photographs. Afterwards, descend for lunch and return to the city of Cusco.
Day 5: Rainbow Mountain + Farewell
Very early departure from Cusco toward the southern valley, passing through impressive Andean landscapes until reaching the starting point of the hike. A stop for breakfast is included along the way.
From the trailhead, the hike to Rainbow Mountain (Vinicunca) begins. You will have time to enjoy the scenery, take photographs, and admire the mountain’s natural colors.
Afterward, return for lunch and then transfer back to the city of Cusco, concluding the services and bidding farewell to our guests.
